What Are The Boosters?
Please allow us to introduce the Salem High School Athletic Booster Club which is a non-profit organization that supports all teams in the SHS athletic program. Membership in the Booster Club is open to parents/guardians, students, coaches, teachers, friends and community leaders. We ask that every athlete's family joins and supports the Booster Club, yearly memberships start at $30. We also appreciate the support of non-athlete Salem High School Families & Alumni.
The Booster Club is the central organization to raise funds that are not covered through the athletic budget, replacing fundraising at the individual team level. The Booster Club funds and organizes annual events which benefit over 1000 student athletes such as:
-Host Fall, Winter and Spring Award Banquets (These banquets are attended by all student athletes and their families. Booster funds are used to cover the cost of awards and plaques as well as the dinner provided.)
-Purchase Championship clothing for every athlete on a Championship team.
-Purchase apparel to recognize 12 season athletes.
-Purchase Scholar Athlete Awards, NHADA Student Leadership Conferences, and Championship Banners.
-Award scholarships to college bound senior athletes who embody of the spirit of SHS Blue Devils. Senior athletes must apply and meet scholarship requirements.
-Supply funds for a fan bus to championship and playoff games.
